About the artist

Hi, my name is Elisabeth Svendby and I am a painter living and working in Oslo, Norway.

My current passion is exploring the figure, and how I can portray states of mind and emotions in every day settings honestly. I embrace the imperfections and vulnerability in each of us through line and color.

I use sensitive yet spontaneous line and intuitive colors, not always the once you notice at first glance, but those that might be hidden from our first impressions.
